Interior Fusion Provides The Link Modern, Colorful and Fun Furniture

Interior Fusion was founded with the idea of ‘fusing’ design and retail together. We wanted to have an uncomplicated, fun approach to creating workspace environments. The goal was to design environments that allowed team members to create and imagine, all while getting work done. We’ve lived by that goal, working with clients to produce a creative workspace that was fun to work in.

Our goal was especially prominent when working with the link in Nocatee.

The link is a community hub offering co-working spaces, activities, events, and child learning classes. They approached Interior Fusion for furniture that would exemplify the venue’s mantra of "learn, play, think, do."

“We wanted to produce an environment that encouraged effective work and happy people,” said Steve Jacobs, co-owner of Interior Fusion. “Working together with Raghu Misra, owner of the link, we believe we accomplished that.”

To ensure no one in the space got bored, we used different finishes throughout the space. As the link was a fan of the modern open look, it was decided to use products from multiple furniture suppliers. The desks and tables came from Lacasse, most of the tablebases were from Semi Exact and AIS provided sit-stand workstations.

Over the course of two weeks, we transformed the link’s first and second floors. It was interesting maneuvering around the other trades in the building and sharing the link’s one elevator with them, but it didn’t pose a problem for the Interior Fusion Jacksonville team. The end result was an open, colorful space people would be proud to work or hang out.

“Our team did an amazing job,” said Jacobs. “This was a great installation and I look forward to seeing the link use our furniture to create a hub where residents can have fulfilling and creative interactions.”
